How we get the information and why we have it :-

All of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for the following reason: You (The customer) contacts us to deliver the goods and/or services to you.

Under the General Data Regulation (GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are

A) Your consent. You are able to remove your consent at any time by using the contact details above.

B) We have a contractual obligation.

C) We have a legal obligation. NB only your name (relating to sales/work completed) has to be kept in the company input transaction ledger for 6 years to comply with HMRC record requirements.

What do we do with the information we have:-

1) We use it to process goods and services.

2) We do not share your information with any other individuals or organisations.

How we store your information:-

Name and e-mail contents/addresses (only for the duration of the order/contract) are stored electronically on a PC at the above address.

Name, physical address and (optionally) phone numbers are stored in a hard copy diary to enable us to locate you and provide to your location the goods or services that you require, and are destroyed at the end of the year.

Name and e-mail addresses for standing orders/contracts will be reviewed before the end of each tax year (unless terminated earlier), when all data pertaining to that sale/work will be retained or removed unless there are legal reasons for keeping it.

Your data protection rights:-

Under Data protection law you have rights including:

Your right of access - You have the right to ask for copies of your personal information

Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to rectify information you think is inaccurate. You have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.

Your right to erasure  :- You have the right to ask us to erase your personal information in certain circumstances.

Your right to restriction of processing :- You have he right to ask us to restrict the processing of your information in certain circumstances

Your right to object to processing :-   You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances

Your right to data portability :- You have the right to ask that we transfer the information you gave us to another organisation or to you in certain circumstances

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request we have one month to respond to you.
